On December 25, 2021 at 12.00 in Saransk in the assembly hall at the St. Fedorovsky Cathedral, a solemn ceremony of awarding participants and prize-winners of the XVII All-Russian Historical and Literary Competition with international participation in memory of St. birth of the Head of the Russian Imperial House E.I.V. Grand Duchess MARIA VLADIMIROVNA.
This competition has been held with the blessing of the ruling bishop of the Saransk diocese since 2004 at the initiative of the Russian Imperial Union-Order with the participation of the Mordovian regional branch of the Russian Nobility Assembly and the department for religious education and catechesis of the Saransk diocese. Since 2020, the Union of Historical and Educational Societies "Heritage of the Empire" has been among the co-organizers of the competition. The Alekseevsky competition has the recommendations of the city education department of Saransk, as well as the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Mordovia. This year it was held under the general name "Imperial Heritage "and was dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the proclamation of the Russian Empire. 22 works of students from various educational institutions of Saransk, Ruzaevka, Tula, Epifani, Atyashevsky, Zubovo-Polyansky, Insarsky, Ichalkovsky, Temnikovsky districts of the Republic of Mordovia were allowed to participate in the competition. The hall was attended by the participants of the competition, their teachers and parents.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the prayer "O Heavenly King" was sung and the Russian national anthem "God Save the Tsar!" was performed. The solemn meeting was opened by the Head of the RIS-O D.A. Sysuev, who presented a colorful presentation dedicated to the Alekseevsky competition and its initiator - the oldest Russian monarchical organization - the Russian Imperial Union-Order. Then the official guests of the ceremony and members of the competition committee were introduced. The audience was addressed by: the First Vice-Rector of the Saransk Theological Seminary, Archpriest Pavel Gorbunov, who conveyed to those present at the ceremony the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Zinovy of Saransk and Mordovia and emphasized the importance of appealing to the memory of the Royal Family and preserving historical memory; Mrs. Salmova N.V. - Consultant of the Department of General Education of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Mordovia, who noted the great importance of the ongoing competition in the matter of spiritual and moral education of students and wished the competition further success; Mr. Kupriyanov A.Yu. Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Legal Disciplines, Moscow State Pedagogical University named after M.E. Evsevyeva with a speech dedicated to the 300th anniversary of the Russian Empire. Among the invited guests of honor at the ceremony were also Mrs. Volkova N.N. - a representative of the City Department of Education g.about. Saransk and the leader of the Mordovian regional branch of the Russian Nobility Assembly VV Chernavin. At the end, the speech of the Head of RIS-O D.A. Sysuev was made.
This was followed by the presentation of certificates and prizes to the participants and prize-winners of the XVII Alekseevsky competition.
The winners of the competition in the younger age group (grades 1-8) were: winners of the III prize - Chevtaykina Victoria, pupil of the 8th grade of the State Budgetary Institution of the Republic of Moldova "Center for Assistance to Children Left without Parental Care" for an essay on the topic: "Modern Youth and the Ideals of Holy Russia" Saransk and Monasypova Karina, a student of grade 8a, secondary school No. 33 Saransk for the work on the topic "Admiral Fyodor Ushakov - an example of wisdom, courage, honesty." The second prize was awarded to Bugleeva Alexandra, a student of the 7th grade. MBOU "Purdoshanskaya secondary school for the work" Forgive us! Through repentance to national revival". The student of the 8th grade of the "MOBU Kemlyanskaya secondary school" Nikolai Tikhonov for "The Tale of Alexander the Son of Yaroslav" in the nomination "The Spiritual Contribution of the Holy Blessed Grand Duke Alexander Nevsky to the Imperial Heritage" became the owner of the 1st prize.
In the older age group, the student of the 11th grade became the owner of the III prize. "MBOU Paygarmskaya secondary school" Gunina Anastasia for the work "Charity in the Russian Empire. The 2nd prize was awarded to a student of the 9th grade. "MBOU Purdoshanskaya secondary school" Anastasia Yarochkina for the creative work "Heritage of the Russian Empire in our time". The owner of the 1st prize was 11th grade student of the Saransk secondary school "Secondary school with in-depth study of individual subjects No. 38" Shevnin Timofey for the essay "The Secret of the Old Photography".
In addition to diplomas, each participant received a commemorative glass with Imperial symbols as a gift from the organizers, as well as the books "Return to Russia" and "Volunteers" kindly provided by the Heritage NBF. The prize-winners from the Russian Imperial Union-Order were given as a gift an exclusively made gift set of puzzles under the motto - "Collect the Empire!". As a grand prix, the winner of the competition was awarded a cash prize and a certificate on behalf of the Chairman of the Coordinating Council of the Heritage of the Empire Union, President of the NBF Heritage, Lieutenant General, Ph.D. L.P. Reshetnikova.
A touching adornment of the competition ceremony was the performance of the first-grader Nadezhda Aitova from the Lobaskinskaya secondary school, who recited by heart S. Bekhteev's poem "Soldier's Funeral", in memory of the State.
