Conference in Moscow: “The Danger of Communist Revenge in Russia and the Position of the Patriotic Movement in Connection with This”

On May 29, 2019, a conference entitled “The Danger of Communist Revenge in Russia and the Position of the Patriotic Movement in Connection with This” was held in Moscow. The forum was initiated by the Russian Union-Military Union (ROVS), the Two-headed Eagle Society for the Development of Russian Historical Education and the oldest Russian monarchist organization, the Russian Imperial Union Order (RIU-O), actively participated in its organization and conduct. In addition to leaders and representatives of these organizations, well-known Russian writers, historians, journalists, representatives of the Orthodox community, war veterans in the Donbass, as well as guests from the Russian Diaspora, direct descendants of White emigrants and participants of the White movement, took part in the conference.

The Executive Director of the “Two-Headed Eagle”, Head of the Department of History and Historical Archival Studies of the IPCC, Ph.D. in History, Lieutenant-General L.P. Reshetnikov, emphasized in his speech the acute relevance of the raised topic. He also presided over the forum.

Chairman of the ROVS I.B. Ivanov delivered a report “Prevent New October”: Russia needs an anti-revolutionary course, in which he pointed out the activation of leftist and other destructive movements in Russia in 2014 and the danger of playing the geopolitical opponents of the communist card for the next “revolutionary” collapse of our country on the model of 1917. Then the analytical reports of the chief of staff of the ROVS A.V. Konyushenko “On the Consolidation of Patriotic Forces in Confronting Red Rematch” and the Head of the Information Department of the ROVS GV Hodkevicha “Aspects of revolutionary propaganda in the media and social networks” (Both reports, which were highly appreciated by the chairman and the audience, will soon be published on the Internet).

The head of the oldest Russian monarchical organization (RIU-O), Ph.D., associate professor of the Department of Philosophy of Mordovia State University D.A. Sysuev stated his position in the report “Overcoming the legacy of Bolshevism as the current direction of the anti-revolutionary course of the revival of Russia”. At the end of his speech, Dmitry Alekseevich made some specific proposals aimed at overcoming the negative consequences of the totalitarian Bolshevik dictatorship in our country.

Speech by the famous Russian writer E.P. Chudinova “Red Revanchism: Trends and Goals” was devoted to the problem of the revival of Stalinism in modern Russia. In her vivid speech, the writer, in particular, emphasized that the Stalinist insurrection in the ranks of the left forces that had emerged in recent years was impossible even in the 1970s. in the USSR, when the Communists themselves considered it necessary to isolate themselves in every way on behalf of Stalin and related crimes against the Russian and other peoples. And the rhetoric and terminology that appeared in the rushes of neo-bolsheviks (“gold runners”, etc.) is a return to the revolutionary rhetoric of the 20s of the last century, long forgotten even in the USSR.
