On January 19, 2020, at the 69th year of his life, Alexander Nikolayevich Kolomiytsev , one of the Cossacks Renaissance veterans on Saratov land, died. Since 1990, Alexander Nikolaevich, born in 1951, took an active part in the Cossack movement, held leadership positions in various Cossack structures. In the late 1990s and early 2000s he was the chieftain of the Saratov regional public organization “Union of Public Associations of Cossacks” established by him. In the last years of his life, he served as Chairman of the Council of the Old Ones of the Saratov Department of the Volga Cossack Corps.
