1,500 people in a procession to honour the Russian Tsar Family

About one and a half thousand people from different regions of Russia took part in the Elizabethan procession of the cross, held on Sunday September 27th in the Moscow region, the press service of the organizers of the event, the Elisabeth-Sergius Educational Society (ESPO), told RIA Novosti. The procession dedicated to the Monk Martyr and Grand Duchess Elizaveta Fyodorovna, known for her wide-ranging charity work in Russia, has been held since 2011 on the Sunday closest to her name day. In 2020, the procession is timed to coincide with the 20th anniversary of the glorification of the royal family of the Romanovs in the Cathedral of the New Martyrs and Confessors of Russia and the 10th anniversary of the great consecration of the Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands in the village of Usovo. "This year, about one and a half thousand people took part in the procession, including guests from Alapaevsk, Yekaterinburg and Perm,"- said the press service of the ESPO.

The memory of the Grand Duke Sergius Alexandrovich honored in Moscow

On September 17, 2020, in the tomb of the Romanov boyars in the Novospassky Monastery in Moscow, at the grave of Grand Duke Sergius Alexandrovich (1857-1905), the abbot of the monastery, His Eminence Metropolitan Dionysius of the Resurrection, served a requiem. Vladyka was co-served by Hieromonk Nikon (Levachev-Belavenets), head of the Office of the Head of the Russian Imperial House for historical and memorial activities.

A bust of the Tsar Nicholas II was installed in the Voronezh region



A bust of Emperor Nicholas II was opened at the entrance to the Church of the Ascension of the Lord in the city of Kalach, Voronezh region. According to local historian Pavel Popov, this is the only monument to the Emperor in the region. The monument was consecrated by the rector of the church, Archpriest Eugene Bey. The territory of the temple, built in 1776, is adjacent to the city market. It's always crowded here. In addition to the monument, the priest consecrated a granite icon "Passion-bearer of the Royal Family", which will later be fixed near the monument.
