104th anniversary of the Ice Campaign (From the Chairman of the ROVS)

February 22 marks 104 years since the performance of the Volunteer Army in the 1st Kuban (Ice) campaign. This event, traditionally celebrated in Russia and Abroad by the Russian patriotic community, is neither the date of the beginning of the anti-Bolshevik resistance, nor the day of the creation of the Volunteer Army, nor the day of any military victory won over the enemies. February 22, 1918 - the day of the beginning of a very difficult and very bloody campaign, the participants of which suffered huge losses, lost the Leader who led them into battle and, alas, did not crown their immortal feat with the liberation of Ekaterinodar captured by the enemy ... But, despite all this, Ice campaign - has become a symbol of the Russian military feat, the strength of the spirit of the White Army; symbol of Russian volunteerism. The ice campaign is a historical event that every patriot of Russia can be proud of.

CONGRATULATIONS on the next anniversary of the Ice Campaign to the descendants of the Pioneers, who keep the memory of their heroic ancestors and honor their covenants and traditions!

CONGRATULATIONS to all the ranks of the Russian All-Military Union, who continue the Cause of the White Warriors today and celebrate a double anniversary on this day - 104 years since the start of the Ice Campaign and 26 years since the formation of the 1st Department of the ROVS in Russia (1996)!

CONGRATULATIONS to my fighting comrades-in-arms and all Russian volunteers who fought with weapons in their hands and are fighting today for the Faith of their ancestors, the Honor of the Russian people and the Unity of Russia!

There was no end, the fight continues!

I.B. Ivanov, Chairman of the ROVS.
