The son of the beaten man told about his father’s many years of conflict with the natives of Chechnya, but the police believe that the incident occurred on domestic soil.
On May 3, the conflict was discussed at the Council of Atamans of the restored Cossack villages of the Volgograd Region, which gathered in the village of Nizhny Chir, Chairman of the Council Alexander Falaleev told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent. Earlier, on May 1, about the beating of a farmer, a gathering of Cossacks in the village of Golubinskaya was going, Ataman of the Second Don Cossack District, Andrei Makhin, told: “I spoke at the meeting, there was a head of the district department, the head of the Kalachevsky district, representatives of the prosecutor’s office, the regional administration, the FSB. The Sychev conflict with local Chechens has been going on for 13 years, since the family began farming in the Bolshenabatovsky farm, Danil Sychev said. Three of the six houses in the farm live Chechen families who settled there about 20 years ago, he said. "We have land both in rent, and in sublease, and in property.
